Ok, so I had lunch with a friend last week who reprimanded me for not posting lately. So N, this is for you. Even though she's halfway around the world right now, I fully expect her to check in and leave me a comment! : )
I had my first Thai meal last Thursday. Very delicious! I'm an Asian food fan, and my hubby isn't, so I get it when I can, where I can! The restaurant was no bigger than a postage stamp, and evidently, very popular for working lunches. I felt a little out of place in my jeans, but whatever.
We've been decorating the Chandler house for Christmas this last week. Hubby was off work, so we painted, did some odd jobs around the house, and put up our tree and other decorations. We haven't done the outside lights yet, perhaps DH (dear husband) will get motivated to drag out the ladders. Do you like blinking lights? Blue lights? I guess I'm boring because I like plain, non-blinky white lights. We have quite an assortment of Holiday decor up and down the street, but hey, it's their power bill, not mine, right?
So I promised you a little bit of potty training talk...ready? Meghan is FULLY POTTY TRAINED now!!!! I seriously thought the day would never come. I could just see it now..."Dear Huggies, I've been a loyal customer now for almost 3 years. It seems as though my daughter loves your product as well. So much, in fact, that she's decided she's going to wear the Princess Pull-Ups right through college."
Thankfully, I'll never have to write this letter! I'm so proud of her! She's really getting to be a big girl. And with potty training has come the "attitude" I've been told so much about. But, as I have learned, with every accomplishment comes a new hurdle. Bring it on!
As for me personally, I've started thinking about resolutions for the new year. Every December, I come up with a laundry list of things I want to start doing, or stop doing...and find that by February 2nd, I've completely failed myself. So, this year, I've decided to give it another shot, and give myself more realistic goals: 1. Pray more; 2. Take time for myself; 3. Be more patient with Meghan; 4. Think positively more often; and 5. Do well in my business endeavors, whether it be with profits, satisfied customers, or just the fact that we're running it in a manner we can be proud of. I guess I wouldn't have to wait until New Years to start my resolutions. If I start now, maybe by New Years they will have become habits. Good habits.
So here's to a Happy Holiday Season, and a New Year full of good habits!

It's about time!
Hi Jen! Too bad I didn't see this post until more than a month later, so I'm a little late in commenting on it. Of course, it's time for another post! Glad you enjoyed the Thai food... let's do it again soon.
